Most places in Maine have shut down to fishing for the year, but there are still a few places open to fishing through October and beyond. I still have several river drifts in October to go along with some grouse hunts. A month of cast and blast isn't a bad deal! Then it's on to November and deer and grouse. Managed some nice fall brook trout to close it out up north along with taking a few grouse during the first state authorized cast and blast in September. What a great year it has been but still plenty of work to do!
